My history of exercise - The beginning!

Agelessly Fit - My history of exercise I have worked out most of my life...I was going to write "adult life" however, I remember joining the local "Health club" when I was around 15 or 16. At the moment I can't remember the name of the first club I joined but I do remember that there was a piece of "exercise equipment" that had rollers that you leaned against to "reduce fat". I looked up vintage exercise equipment and found this: Kellogg Stomach Roller Yup...this is close enough!! It looks very similar to the equipment that was in "my health club" that I could not wait to use. I would contort parts of my body over the roller knowing that my "fat" would be magically removed! OH...and how could I forget......the "Vibrating belt"!!!! Yes...the magic to remove cellulite and fat!!!! So, here I am.....an up and coming blogger!! Why?? I believe that the journey to fitness and more importantly, wellness is "ageless"! I have been on this journey most of my life and today, at 61, I continue to march forward. There are so many destinations on this journey - some that sidetrack; others that clear the forward path. Each fork in the road can be a challenges, a learning, an inspiration, a success..... Learning that fitness and wellness is a journey is easy! Accepting that fitness and wellness is a journey is the challenge!!! I am here to help with the acceptance. Too frequently we want the "magic pill"; the instant success! We starve ourselves in the "diet of the year"...NO! WAIT! The "diet of the day"! Yes! Too often we cling to a "diet" to be the answer to just get to the "final" destination!!
